The idea for the project came in 2018. I was driving across the island and this slightly curved wall caught my eye.

I stopped and looked at the wall from a distance, a kind of CinemaScope screen I thought. Then I knew I want to paint this wall and began to make designs.

In the fall of 2019 I presented the project to the municipal council of the city of Marathokampos. I got the permission to paint the wall. Several sketches ultimately led me to the current design.

I have found some sponsors for this project, last but not least the Greek paint manufacturer KraftPaints has agreed to provide me with the paints for the mural. My dear friends the Sarrigiannis family from Limnionas, Manolis from Arma Rent a car and the city of Marathokampos, thank you Dimitris Volakakis, support the project, so it is a great collaboration of people.
